Sanitary Landfill Resumes Winter Hours

December 2, 2022 – With the Thanksgiving holiday now over, the City of Midland’s Sanitary Landfill has resumed its regular winter hours through March 2023.  The Landfill is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and closed on Saturdays from December through March.

The Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, December 23 (Christmas Eve observed); Monday, December 26 (Christmas Day observed); and Monday, January 2, 2023 (New Year’s Day holiday observed). 

Beginning in April 2023, the Landfill will open with extended hours one Saturday per month and extended evening hours every Wednesday through November. More information on these changes will be shared in early 2023.
